Hi! My name is Svetlana, but everyone calls me Svet. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, surrounded by forests, mountains, and moody water — basically my happy place.

I’m a huge DIY and paper girl. If it crinkles, rustles, or can be glued into a journal, I probably love it. I’m obsessed with stationery, journaling, scrapbooking, and of course SNAIL MAIL. I started writing letters when I was 9 years old to my big brother while he was in the army. Growing up in Russia, I was away from home a lot, so letters became my way of staying close to the people I loved. I wrote almost every day, and to this day, getting a real letter in the mail still feels like a little miracle.

My favorite colors are forest green and deep ocean blue. I love florals, especially wild daisies, and I’m drawn to anything farmhouse or cottagecore — cozy kitchens, chipped paint, old wood, and ivy-covered fences. I have a soft spot for frogs, mushrooms, cows (I LOVE COWS), rainy days, foggy mornings, and mountain views.

I’m absolutely in love with vintage and Victorian-era paper treasures: old postcards, letters, stamps, photographs, wallpaper scraps… all of it. I also adore unique papercrafting supplies, washi tape, washi stickers, and honestly just STICKERS in general. If it can be stuck in a journal, I’m probably already in love with it.

I make all kinds of journals — junk journals, bullet journals, faith journals — and losing myself in creating pages is one of my favorite ways to spend time. I love writing and dream of publishing my own book one day. I’ve also led a Faith Journaling small group where we created art and journaling pages based on Bible verses. Journaling to God and with God is one of my sweetest joys.

I’m a follower of Jesus, and my faith is the center of my life. Nothing matters more to me than God. I want my life to be about loving Him and loving people, serving where He leads, and finding beauty and meaning in the everyday moments He gives.

I also enjoy photography, especially capturing little details that most people might walk past — a raindrop on a leaf, a forgotten path, light coming through a window. I love being outdoors, exploring new places, and then coming home to cozy up with a good, clean book.

At home, I share my life with two dogs who keep things fun and a little bit chaotic. Sasha is my 6-year‑old ball of energy — playful, sweet, and always ready to run and explore. Dobbie is my 12-year‑old rescued Chiweenie, a tiny gentleman with a big heart and the sweetest face. They zoom around the apartment chasing each other and making me laugh every single day.
